Motadata, a leading provider of Unified Observability and ServiceOps solutions, empowers enterprises with an AI-powered unified platform that delivers complete visibility, control, and intelligence across complex IT environments. By bringing observability and service management together under a single integrated stack, Motadata helps organizations proactively streamline operations, reduce downtime, and align IT performance with business outcomes.

Reinforcing this capability, Motadata successfully enabled the British School in Colombo to modernize and streamline its IT operations. The deployment of Motadata Unified Observability and ServiceOps delivered with Connex Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and partner Microsolutions Information Systems Pvt Ltd.

The British School in Colombo is one of Sri Lanka’s premier international schools, delivering a digitally enabled learning experience supported by a mission-critical IT ecosystem. With technology underpinning classrooms, learning platforms, administrative systems, and campus-wide operations, uninterrupted service availability and performance are essential to the school’s day-to-day functioning.

As the school’s digital footprint expanded, its IT team faced increasing operational complexity. Limited end-to-end visibility across infrastructure and applications, reactive incident management, and disconnected monitoring and service management tools made it challenging to quickly identify and resolve issues. The school also required actionable, data-driven insights to support future technology growth.

To address these challenges, Motadata’s AIops & ServiceOps was implemented as a unified platform. Microsolutions Information Systems (Pvt) Ltd acted as the systems integrator & implementation partner, ensuring seamless integration of Motadata’s solutions into the school’s existing IT environment with minimal disruption and rapid value realization.

Motadata Unified Observability delivers real-time visibility across networks, servers, and applications, supported by AI-driven anomaly detection and predictive alerts. Unified dashboards provide a single, holistic view of IT health, while advanced performance analytics and capacity planning enable proactive decision-making. In parallel, Motadata ServiceOps centralizes incident, request, and problem management, automates ticket creation from monitoring events, and accelerates root-cause identification through intelligent event correlation and structured workflows aligned with IT service best practices.

Speaking on the impact of the deployment, Mr. Sujeendiran Chandramohan, Head of IT at the British School of Colombo, said, “Our goal was to gain better visibility and control over our IT operations while ensuring technology never disrupts the learning experience. With Motadata Unified Observability and ServiceOps, we now have proactive monitoring, faster incident resolution, and meaningful insights that help us plan ahead. Microsolutions Information Systems (Pvt) Ltd played a key role in seamlessly integrating both platforms into our existing IT environment, ensuring the solution aligned perfectly with our operational needs.”

Following the implementation, the British School of Colombo has achieved reduced unplanned outages, faster mean time to resolution (MTTR), improved continuity of digital learning, and stronger collaboration between IT operations and service teams. The availability of real-time and predictive insights has also strengthened the school’s ability to plan future infrastructure investments with confidence.

This successful deployment highlights Motadata’s strength in delivering integrated AIop’s unified observability and ServiceOps ITSM solution that bridge the gap between infrastructure monitoring and service management. With the support of Connex Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd as the authorized distributor and Microsolutions Information Systems (Pvt) Ltd as the implementation and integration partner, Motadata continues to empower organizations in Sri Lanka to adopt intelligent, scalable, and future-ready IT operations that directly support their core mission.

The success of Motadata in this region has been made possible by the dedicated efforts of the business and product teams: Bhaskar Niraula, Territory Sales Manager, Sanjaya Mendis – BU Head, Akila Gurusinghe, Product Manager at Connex Information Technologies, along with the team from Microsolutions Information Systems Pvt Ltd. – Lalinda Dassanayake – Managing Director, Rajeew Perera – Chief Technology Officer and Charitha Dasanayake – Systems Engineer. They continue to support customers and are ready to provide detailed information about Motadata’s solutions.
