Samsung Sri Lanka has officially announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, ushering in a new era of intelligent mobile experiences powered by advanced Galaxy AI. Unveiled globally at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 in San Francisco, the Galaxy S26 lineup introduces the concept of agentic AI, a smarter, more proactive form of artificial intelligence designed to assist users seamlessly throughout their daily lives.

Customers in Sri Lanka can now purchase the Galaxy S26 series from all Samsung authorized stores and dealers islandwide from 16th March 2026.

The Galaxy S26 series lineup includes the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S26+, and the Samsung Galaxy S26, giving users the flexibility to choose a device that best fits their lifestyle and performance needs. From the premium capabilities of the Ultra to the balanced power and design of the S26+ and the everyday intelligence of the base Galaxy S26, the series brings the full Galaxy AI experience across the entire range.

Customers who purchase the Galaxy S26 series can enjoy exclusive launch benefits worth up to Rs. 235,580*. These include special price savings, a two-year front screen replacement benefit and two-year back glass replacement coverage, along with a 2TB data bundle from Dialog offering 350GB per month for six months. Customers can also conveniently own the Galaxy S26 series through Samsung Easy Pay with flexible monthly instalments for up to 26 months, making it easier to experience Samsung’s latest AI-powered smartphones.

The Galaxy S26 series builds on Samsung’s leadership in mobile innovation, bringing AI deeper into the smartphone experience. Built on three pillars: Reach, Openness, and Confidence, the series introduces a more intelligent and personalized way for users to interact with their devices.

At its core is agentic AI, designed to understand context, anticipate needs, and assist users proactively. Instead of simply responding to commands, Galaxy S26 works in the background to simplify everyday tasks and keep users focused on what matters most.

The series introduces several AI-powered features to make smartphone use more intuitive. Call Screening summarizes incoming calls by identifying who is calling and why, helping users quickly decide whether to answer. Now Nudge understands conversational context and provides timely suggestions without requiring users to switch between apps, helping them stay organized and productive.

The latest version of Bixby also introduces real-time web search capabilities, delivering results directly within conversations for a faster and more seamless experience.

Samsung continues to strengthen privacy and security with the Personal Data Engine (PDE), which learns from user preferences on-device to enable personalized experiences while protecting data. Samsung Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) isolates sensitive information within apps, while Samsung Knox Vault secures critical data such as passwords, biometrics, and security keys in a dedicated hardware environment, ensuring Galaxy AI remains both personal and secure.

Delivering advanced AI experiences requires powerful hardware, and the Galaxy S26 series is engineered to meet that demand. The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a custom application processor co-developed by Samsung Electronics, offering a 39% more powerful neural processing unit (NPU) and a 19% faster CPU compared to previous generations.

SangHwa Song, Managing Director of Samsung Sri Lanka, commented on the launch,
“The Galaxy S26 series represents an important step forward in how smartphones support everyday life. With Galaxy AI and agentic intelligence, we are introducing devices that are not only powerful but also intuitive and personalized. Sri Lankan consumers are increasingly looking for technology that simplifies daily tasks while protecting their privacy, and the Galaxy S26 series delivers on that promise while setting a new benchmark for premium mobile innovation.”

The Galaxy S26 series introduces several camera innovations powered by AI. The front camera features an AI-powered Image Signal Processor (ISP) that enhances detail and color accuracy for clearer photos and video calls. Samsung’s Nightography Video technology has also been upgraded, delivering improved low-light video capture by reducing noise while maintaining sharpness and clarity.

Additionally, Intelligent Document Scan allows users to automatically flatten, clean, and convert documents into shareable files with a single tap, simplifying everyday productivity tasks.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra also debuts Privacy Display, a new screen technology designed to limit side viewing while maintaining brightness and clarity for the user. The feature can be toggled on or off and customized for specific apps, helping protect sensitive information such as financial details when using the phone in public spaces.

With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung continues to redefine the smartphone experience by integrating intelligent AI capabilities, powerful performance, and robust privacy protections into one seamless device, bringing the future of mobile technology to users in Sri Lanka.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is now available for purchase from all authorized stores and dealers islandwide, with prices starting from Rs. 311,999.

For more information, customers can visit their nearest Samsung authorized dealer or contact the Samsung Sri Lanka customer care center via 011 7267864. *T&Cs apply.
