Dr Asanka P. Sayakkara is the Founder Director of the Innovation & Startup Incubator at the University of Colombo. He is also a Senior Lecturer at University of Colombo’s School of Computing (UCSC).
He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Colombo School of Computing in 2013 and received his PhD in the field of Information Security and Digital Forensics, from the University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland in 2020.
During his PhD studies, he worked with the Forensic & Security Research (ForSec) group and Artificial Intelligence Solution for Cyber Security, Digital Forensics and Smart Systems (ASEADOS) lab of UCD. He also worked with the Sustainable Computing Research (SCoRe) group until 2017.
His research interests revolve around Embedded Systems, Digital Forensics, Hardware Security, and Side-Channel Analysis.
