Samsung is gearing up for a big reveal of its latest foldable smartphones at the upcoming annual Unpacked event in July, and it’s slated to officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8. With those devices on the fast track to launch, we can now bring you several leaked images of cases for each of those three phones. This leak comes shortly after an exclusive we brought you on the Galaxy Watch 9 bands and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 bands, in addition to an exclusive on the Galaxy Watch 9 earlier in the week.
Each phone has several case options, though there will likely be many more from Samsung’s retail partners and other third-party case makers, and maybe even a few extra from Samsung itself. For now, though, this appears to be all of the case options that, or at least a majority of them, that will be offered at or right around the launch of these devices.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Cases
First, we have the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which is going to be Samsung’s flagship device out of these three foldables, and a direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Samsung is coming out with several case options for this device. The usual options are there. Such as the silicone offerings and the clear plastic shell cases. It’s also going to be releasing some aramid fiber cases this year. Not just in one color though. By the looks of it, there will be three different colors. One with the standard black, and then options in red and blue. The aramid fiber cases also have kickstands, making these the ideal option for people who like to prop their phones up for watching videos or playing games. There are a few different colors of the silicone cases as well, which also appear to support wireless charging via the magnetic ring.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Cases
Next up we have the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 cases. This will be the company’s new wide foldable, a new form factor. There are a lot of similar offerings here, just form-fitted to the wider design of this particular version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The aramid fiber cases, for example, come in the same three colors. There is at least one color of the silicone cases that’s the same, but the others appear to be different as Samsung wants these to match the color of the phone to a degree, and these won’t have all the same colors.
The clear shells are also a bit different, as these have different artist designs on them. These ones specifically have been designed by Esther Kim, Joker, and Kakao Corp.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 Cases
Coming up last is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 cases, which, again, seem to mirror some of what Samsung has done with the other two phones. There doesn’t appear to be any aramid fiber cases for this device, but it will be offering silicone cases and some clear shells with designs from Esther Kim, Joker, and Kakao Corp as the artists. There could be more at some point as well, but these are what will likely be available from the start. As for the silicone cases, these will have the magnetic wireless ring like the all-clear shells, and they come in two different colors, which appear to be white and gray. Just like with the silicone cases for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, these will feature a ring that can be used to hang the device from bags and such.
While these are all the cases that have surfaced so far, there will probably be more. Whether Samsung intends to launch them all alongside the phones or not. Chances are that Samsung will showcase a lot at Unpacked coming up at the end of July.
